Privacy policy
How NextHope collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our websites, contact us or use our digital services.
01 — Data controller
Who processes your data.
The data controller is NextHope, a Malagasy IT, network, telecom and cybersecurity integrator, headquartered at IIJ 173B Ivandry, 101 Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Privacy contact: [email protected] — phone +261 32 03 020 20.
This policy applies to the public website www.nexthope.net, the related blog and digital spaces operated by NextHope to present its expertise, products and services.
02 — Data we collect
What we may collect.
Depending on how you use the site, we may process:
- Contact data — name, email, phone, company, message when you write to us (upcoming form, email or phone).
- Browsing data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, referrer, and technical data needed to run and secure the site.
- Cookies and similar — session identifiers, preferences (e.g. consent), audience measurement where applicable after consent.
- Admin account data — email and authentication metadata for staff accessing the EmDash admin (passkeys or Google Workspace @nexthope.net).
We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (health, political opinions, etc.) through the public site.
03 — Purposes and bases
Why we use it.
- Responding to enquiries — handling commercial or technical messages (legitimate interest / pre-contractual steps).
- Operating and securing the site — availability, logging, abuse prevention (legitimate interest).
- Audience measurement — aggregated statistics when you have consented (consent).
- CMS administration — access limited to NextHope teams (employment / legitimate interest).
- Legal obligations — retention and responses to competent authorities (legal obligation).
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party behavioural advertising on the corporate site.
04 — Cookies
Trackers and measurement.
Strictly necessary cookies may be set for session, security and remembering your consent choices. They do not require prior consent.
Audience measurement cookies (for example on the blog) are set only after you agree via the cookie banner, when present. You may withdraw consent by clearing browser cookies or revisiting preferences when the site allows it.
Cookie lifetime depends on purpose: session cookies (cleared when the browser closes) or a limited duration for preferences and measurement.
05 — Recipients
Who can access it.
Your data may be accessed by authorised NextHope teams (sales, technical, support) and, where needed, by processors acting on our behalf (hosting, transactional email, authentication tools) under confidentiality commitments.
Transfers outside Madagascar may occur when cloud or authentication services (e.g. Google) are used. We then rely on appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.
06 — Retention
How long we keep it.
- Contact messages — as long as needed to handle the request, then limited archiving if commercial or contractual follow-up justifies it.
- Technical logs — short periods compatible with security and diagnostics.
- Admin accounts — for the duration of the professional relationship, then deletion or anonymisation.
- Cookies — according to their own lifetime, at most the duration disclosed when set.
07 — Your rights
What you can ask for.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing based on legitimate interest, and data portability where the conditions are met.
To exercise your rights, email [email protected] with the subject “Personal data”. We may request proof of identity if reasonable doubt exists. We will respond within a reasonable time.
You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.
08 — Security
How we protect your data.
NextHope applies appropriate technical and organisational measures (access control, HTTPS in transit, environment segregation, least privilege). No system is infallible: please report any suspected incident promptly to the address above.
09 — Contact & updates
Stay informed.
